Back from holiday at the weekend and straight into wrapping up this branding project for New Dawn Climate.✨ Such a thoughtful brief - all about new beginnings, fresh horizons and the optimism of a new dawn (which was rather fitting as the client has just taken the leap into freelance life).

I loved working with colour, type and form to capture that balance of being grounded, professional and hopeful. And honestly, it was one of those projects where the client made it easy with her clear vision, openness to ideas, and by just being a joy to work with!

She also sent me some lovely comments (one of which is on the final slide)... always a bit blush-making to share but it really did make my week (and it's only Wednesday!) 🌿☀️

Was anyone else all ready for the year’s fourth heatwave… only to get a lukewarm drizzle instead? Never mind, the forecast says we’ll be sizzling soon enough. 😰

In the meantime, here are some cool beach palettes. I love how light, location and atmosphere mean no two shorelines ever look quite the same. From the achingly vivid blue skies of New England, to a candy-coloured English beach resort, to a cool Ibizan sunset. Nature’s colour wheel at its most unpredictable.

A little collage of (innocent) C-words I’m fond of. Cat being the most important, of course (see previous post).

Then there’s Calm, Clarity, Charm, Curiosity… the list goes on.

It’s not exactly data-driven. Just a vaguely satisfying, mildly obsessive exercise in type and personality.

Also: an excellent way to avoid doing actual work.
